Wilma

I Love Wilma Mankiller. She was the principle chief of the Cherokee out of Oklahoma, the first Woman chief of a large tribe in the current conditions under which we are forced to live. She has done a lot for her people. I have had the privilege of seeing her twice in the last two weeks.

The discussion last night that took place at the Whitsell Auditorium at the Portland Art Museum was about tribes, treaties, and trust. You have undoubtedly heard me wax on and on about those subjects, and I may a little at the end of this writing.

Throughout the whole thing, my friend LA, and I were making little comments to each other. We've had our noses in Indian business for years and know how things work...and how they are supposed to work. I would have been a little more....OK...A LOT more forthright with my opinions on the law and the genocide enacted against the indigenous of this nation past, present, and future. But I'm a loud mouth, and after I would be done, I cuckle at the absurdity of it all.

My favorite part was when Wilma talked about her name. She loves her name. I Love her name. (My favorite name, however, is Whitekiller, a Yakama man I worked with.) Wilma told a story of a young man that kept on asking her odd questions. She did the stoic Indian routine, something that many people expect of Indians, and when she took questions from the audience at that particular event, the young man asked her a question. "How did you get the name Mankiller?" he asked her. ..."I earned it," she told him with her stoic face.

Wilma, I can tell, does not see herself in the status that others put her in. I can tell by her actions, my brief conversation with her previously, the way she treats her audiences, etc., that she sees herself as just another human being. She is, afterall, one of us. When Wilma was introduced, she got a standing ovation. She was embarassed and motioned for the people to sit, but we didn't, not right away.

LA was telling me stories from Wilma's autobiography. I have not read it myself, but will undoubtedly have to add it to my stack. Wilma is indeed, a wonderful human being.

Knowing this, I appeal to all of you who are reading this. You are made of the same stuff as Wilma Mankiller (earned her name...just kidding). You are made of the same stuff as Malcolm X, Che Guevara, Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghandi, Winona Laduke, Wilma Mankiller, etc. What are you going to do with that stuff you're made of? You have a certain amount of time in the world, use it wisely. Wilma did/does. So, when you stand and honor this wonderful woman, stand and honor yourself, your family, your community, your fellow human beings, and do something to change this world for the better. I believe in you because I can see you, touch you, know you are made of the same stuff as Wilma. I know who you are. What are you going to do about it?

Once you're ready...I'LL SEE YOU AT THE REVOLUTION!

I don't mind that no one is reading.

I've been humbled, recently, and I don't mind that no one is reading this blog. Heck, I don't feel much like writing in it anymore. For the first time that I recall...I don't feel much like writing.

I'm kinda glad no one is reading.

I had my first date with a woman I am just absolutely crazy about last night. She is so wonderful, so beautiful, intelligent, creative, has a wonderful laugh. I have been in Love with her for the last two weeks, I might as well be honest. It seems mutual. But I love that not knowing. I love what I feel for her. She is so amazingly beautiful. So wonderful. And there she was, last night, sitting across the table from me. I feel all sorts of butterflies for her. Every time our eyes met my heart skipped a beat. We giggled and laughed all night long.

I don't know what's gonna happen. I'm scared and madly in Love. I think she likes me, too, and I'm scared, and gladly in Love. I have to take that chance. To share that beauty I've always wanted to share with someone. To possibly live our lives together and what does that mean. Joy, happiness, support, caring, struggle, differences, similarities, ceremonies, songs...

OK! I'M IN LOVE! I WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NEXT! I KEEP TURNING THE PAGES OF THIS STORY! I WILL FIND OUT WHAT THE NEXT STEP IS, AND GO FROM THERE!

I'm so fucking nervous. I was settling into the idea of the possibility of this never happening again for me. I didn't expect this to happen. I wasn't looking for Love. And there she is. It just happened. There she is. I have NEVER felt as happy and joyous as I did last night...as I do right now! She is worth all of this wonderful beauty and ache!

Haven't written here in a while

I am starting to peter out on my enthusiasm of blogging. But that's OK. There is a very good reason for that.

I think I'm falling in Love. I'm taking my time. I'm in no rush. I want to make sure it's a good thing. These things take time. She seems interested in me, too. Like Gypsy Rose Lee said, "Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly." Gotta Love her!

For the last couple of weeks me met at social events. I try not to be obvious about my enthusiasm, then, at the same time, I want to be. It feels so good, and is so fun! Even if nothing happens, I have never felt as GREAT as I have in the last couple of weeks. It's true! I know for sure what I'm supposed to feel now!

I know I'm not getting any hits on this thing, and that's OK. I write here mostly for myself anyway. And I Love bouncing around the idea of Love instead of thinking of not trying anymore.

So, there are two reasons I haven't been writing to you. One is because I'm falling in Love and I don't know what is going to happen nor how she feels for me, though I know she isn't running away screaming, and actually seems interested in me. And, I'm not getting any hits here anyway. I still get the word out. I still try to inform people as much as I possibly can. This little blog has been somewhat of a dead end for me, yet, not completely. I feel I've learned a lot from every dead end I've ever hit. I've learned a lot from this one, too.

One thing I've realized since my experience with the "Captive White Woman" a post made many months ago, I have a limited time on this earth. What am I gonna do with it? I Love the people! I want life to be good for all of the people. I want everyone's human rights honored. There is enough natural suffering which makes me wonder why we have to have war other than to create wealth for people who already have way too much wealth as it is. I have a over 40 years left. That's really not that much time. I'm gonna do what I can. Carry out my version of stealing horses.

So, there you go, folks. Life is good! Life is very very good! Like Emma Goldman said, if I can't dance at your Revolution, I aint gonna come. If I can't dance at my own Revolution...

The High Cost of Raping Your Children

The Archodiocese of Portland is offering 121 victims of childhood sex abuse $40 million dollars:

"The archdiocese, which is still besieged by 121 pending sex-abuse claims seeking hundreds of millions of dollars, said Wednesday that it believes $40 million, in Archbishop John G. Vlazny's words, is "fair and just compensation for victims who have been sexually abused.""
----The Oregonian, November 17, 2005

So, felon John Vlazny states that they'll pay $40 million dollars to rape 121 of your children. That way the felonies he and his priests have committed will go UNPROSECUTED.

So, the high cost of childhood rape on the victims of Vlazny and others can come with a simple payout that will amount to about $200,000 per victim after the lawyers get their cut and the rapists and those compicit in child rape (all felonies) will never be prosecuted nor have to see a day behind bars. Read "The Courage to Heal," and attempt to understand what the victims of childhood rape have to live with the rest of their lives. Many wind up committing suicide or are deeply welled in drug and alcohol abuse. For a lifetime of hell, criminals in the archdiocese will give you approximately $200,000 so they can get away with their crimes.

How much money would you accept to be legally raped by a catholic priest. We can see how much the Portland archdiocese will offer to escape prosecution for FELONY child rape and COMPLICITY? Or, would you rather have justice?

Liberty and no justice for child RAPIST priests. That should be America's motto. And Fuck! The American Churches got to get away with raping THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of Indian children for FREE and never have to face prosecution. White people will get a cut of the rape money, darkies will get nothing. Just a few things to think about when your children are being raped by christians in their churches.

Vine Deloria, Jr. has passed on

Sunday, November 13, 2005In Honor of Vine Deloria, Jr. (1933-2005)The great indigenous visionary, philosopher, author and activistVine Deloria, Jr. passed over to join his ancestors today, November13, 2005. Our thoughts and prayers go to his wife, Barbara, to hischildren and his other relatives. The passing of Vine creates a hugeintellectual and analytical void in the native and non-nativeworlds. He will be greatly missed. It is appropriate on this website to reflect on the meaning ofVine's contibutions to indigenous peoples' resistance, and toreflect on our responsibilities to maintain and to advance thelessons that Vine gave to us. It is safe to say that without theexample provided by the writing and the thinking of Vine Deloria,Jr., there likely would have been no American Indian Movement, therewould be no international indigenous peoples' movement as it existstoday, and there would be little hope for the future of indigenouspeoples in the Americas.Vine Deloria, Jr. was a true revolutionary when he wrote "CusterDied for Your Sins" in 1969, the first of his scores of books andscholarly articles (for a partial bibliography of Vine's importantbooks go to:

http://www.ipl.org/div/natam/bin/browse.pl/A31).
<http://www.ipl.org/div/natam/bin/browse.pl/A31%29.>

He had the courageand the vision to challenge the dominating society at its core. Hewas unapologetic in confronting the racism of U.S.law and policy, and he was prophetic in challenging young indigenous activists tohone their strategies. We will write much more about Vine in the upcoming days. He was ourelder statesman and mentor. For now, we will share this passagefrom "Custer Died For Your Sins," as a reminder of ourresponsibilities, and to ensure that we are more deliberate andstrategic in our resistance."Ideological leverage is always superior to violence....The problemsof Indians have always been ideological rather than social, political or economic....[I]t is vitally important that the Indianpeople pick the intellectual arena as the one in which to wage war.Past events have shown that the Indian people have always beenfooled by the intentions of the white man. Always we have discussedirrelevant issues while he has taken our land. Never have we takenthe time to examine the premises upon which he operates so that wecould manipulate him as he has us."-- "Custer Died for Your Sins: An Indian Manifesto," (1969) pp.251-252and this relevent passage regarding the example of the great OglalaLakota leader Tashunka Witko (Crazy Horse):"Crazy Horse never drafted anyone to follow him. People recognizedthat what Crazy Horse did was for the best and was for the people.Crazy Horse never had his name on the stationery. He never hadbusiness cards. He never received a per diem. *** Until we can onceagain produce people like Crazy Horse all the money and help in theworld will not save us. It is up to us to write the [next] chapterof the American Indian upon this continent." page 272For many of us, Vine was a contemporary Crazy Horse. Perhaps wesquandered his time with us. We took him for granted, and assumedthat he would always be with us. Now, the question is, not only willwe produce more Crazy Horses, but will we produce more Vine Deloria,Jr.s?Vine, we will miss you, but we will continue your work towardfreedom for native peoples everywhere. Veteran's Day

Today is the day that here in the states, we get to hear how our veterans fought and died for our freedom. Yeah...

Ok, here we go again...

How is taking away the freedom of other's to live protecting my freedom? What do these people know of my freedom? What do these people know of the freedom of Indians on reservations? What do they know of the freedom of the children who go hungry? What do they know of the freedom of those who have no health care? What of the freedom of blacks in New Orleans? I could go on forever.

Freedom. What freedom? What is freedom other than a word to encourage poor people to kill poor people somewhere else in the world so wealthy MEN can steal their wealth. Veterans are nothing but the strong arm for theives, at least veterans in this country.

NEVER have I felt my freedom protected by these killers directly. My freedom to live as an Indian has been stolen by the same organization these men and women kill for. My life was STOLEN before I was even born. I'm free to live in a mainstream society and redefine what it is for me to be Indian in it. Freedom... What the fuck does it mean?

Freedom: a word tossed around in the form of propaganda to support killers to oppress and murder those of other nations in order for a few mostly white men to make billions and billions of dollars; what murdered some 3,000,000 Vietnamese and killed some 56,000 americans; what created that Iraqi man during this latest war to cry over the bodies of his 15 dead relatives; what created boarding schools where Indian children were turned into slaves and raped and used as sex rewards and murdered; what slaughtered the buffalo; what destroyed the salmon; why Germonimo was shipped off in a railroad car; why 200 American corporations made millions supporting the Nazis; what created the nuclear bomb; etc.

Veteran: a human being who will murder and slaughter their fellow human beings for freedom.

Very few people in this country examine what it means to murder our fellow human beings for freedom. How is taking away the freedom of someone to live protecting the freedom of others? No one asks.

I have many friends who are veterans. All of these friends are against war. Like the great marine corps general, Smedley Darlington Butler, they know "War is a Racket." Many of these friends have killed many people. Some have made a personal peace with the people they were trying to kill in the name of freedom. They know that what they were really doing was not fighting for freedom, but fighting to protect and create wealth for the elite.

Indians in the military is a touchy subject for me. I understand that Indians join the military in order to create some sort of successful life for themselves. Some buy into the bullshit of the obscure and undefined concept alleged to be freedom. But the truth is, they are fighting and killing indigenous peoples in other nations for the wealthy of the U.S. governments corporate owners.

There is a concept of warriorhood. To me, a warrior is someone who stands up for the people, protects the people, cares for the people, assures the human rights for the people, etc. A warrior can be man or woman or any other gender. A warrior may have never joined the military, and most Indians who have joined the military are NOT warriors in my opinion. I do not participate or observe grand entries at powwows. I do not believe in carrying the U.S. flag before all others when the U.S. government has committed and continues to commit genocide against our peoples. I do not believe in honoring those who fought and possibly killed to protect the theiving genocidal U.S. government. However, I AM a human who does believe in freedom and will not stand in the way of my fellow humans in honoring veterans as alleged warriors. My definition of warrior is so much more than someone who has joined the military to kill for the wealth of the elite.

Fighting for the land. This makes no sense to me either. Fighting for the land which is illegally under the control of the U.S. government. Would we, as Indians, have created toxic wastes? nuclear bombs? dams? made plants and animals extinct or endangered? raped children in boarding schools? etc.? If you are an Indian in the military or a veteran, I will be honest with you and tell you...YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING FOR THE LAND! Again, this is an obscure concept, like freedom and warrior.

Veteran's Day is an obscure holiday. It is a day to honor those who have joined the military of the U.S. government. However, at the same time, the U.S. government is taking away their health benefits. They put our family and friends in harms way to steal the wealth of other nations for the U.S.'s corporate owners. There ARE already homeless vets from this alleged war on terror. Is that freedom? Is that the freedom those vets were fighting for?

Our children are coming home damaged. Some come homes in boxes, some come home with severe mental damage, some come home with body parts gone, many have become suicidal, etc., and the corporations they have killed for get off scott free with all they crimes they commit.

I would never do anything to interrupt people celebrating veteran's day. But don't forget, veterans are not really being honored when their health care is being stolen by the wealthy they are killing and oppressing for. When they come home in pieces and are unable to get the help they need, that's not honoring. Giving them this obscure stupid day does nothing. I believe in freedom, so celebrate if you want. I'd rather that those fellow human beings have health care and so much more. I'd rather those fellow human beings not slaughter and oppress for the wealthy. But that's just me.

My father was a veteran. He joined during the Korean War, and was lucky enough for the war to end three days before he got there. I told him many times before his passing that I was glad that he had not gotten there during the war, otherwise he may not have come back or would have come back a completely different human being.

Veteran's day means nothing to me. It is a day set aside to allege support for those who have been in the U.S. military. Yet, these human beings are being put in harms way to create and protect the wealth of the few. They murder and oppress indigenous peoples of other nations in order that the theives at the top can STEAL it all. They come home damaged and are unable to get care. They come home in boxes. They come home and find themselves on the streets while the wealthy they murdered for don't even care about them. Veteran's Day (like freedom, warrior, land, etc.) is just an obscure propagandized concept in order to get American support behind the ILLEGAL activities of the wealthy.

So celebrate and enjoy the day as you will, but I hope you all understand that this obscure holiday does nothing to honor veterans.

A few final thoughts:

Was the use of white phosphorous in Fallujah protecting my freedom?

To paraphrase the vet I saw on "Farenheit 911": "You know what they say about how killing someone takes away a piece of your soul...well...it's true."

Kristallnacht

Today and tomorrow, November 9 and 10, marks the 67 anniversary of Kristallnacht. Here is a bit of information of what it was and why it happened from the website:

http://www.mtsu.edu/~baustin/knacht.html

"...Zindel Grynszpan, who had been born in western Poland and had moved to Hanover, where he established a small store, in 1911. On the night of October 27, Zindel Grynszpan and his family were forced out of their home by German police. His store and the family's possessions were confiscated and they were forced to move over the Polish border. Zindel Grynszpan's seventeen-year-old son, Herschel, was living with an uncle in Paris. When he received news of his family's expulsion, he went to the German embassy in Paris on November 7, intending to assassinate the German Ambassador to France. Upon discovering that the Ambassador was not in the embassy, he settled for a lesser official, Third Secretary Ernst vom Rath. Rath, was critically wounded and died two days later, on November 9."

Thousands of synagogues were burned. The windows in Jewish shops and houses were broken by Nazi youth. Some 96 Jews were murdered. All of this engineered by Goebbels. This incident was used to spurn hatred of the Jews and lead to the "Final Solution" decision made at Vannsee some two years later.

I try to not forget the days of death. I try not forget that millions of people whom I will never know have and are dying senselessly so that a few men can make a whole lot of money. Although I will never know all their names, I know what happened. I will not forget. I will always seek justice.

Not so happy anniversary...

How to lie with a straight face!

Last night on the way home, I saw the street final edition of the Oregonian whose headline was a quote from the boy king, George W. Bush, current leader of the U.S. regine. The quote was: "We do not torture." I guess now those who have not been tortured to death, like the man who was kicked to death because he would scream "Allah" every time U.S. service men would kick him in the legs, will now come back to life and lead a healthy and normal life.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051108/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_torture;_ylt=Au3wlMcF_hfoVDzHPh1X2wSs0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA3OXIzMDMzBHNlYwM3MDM-

It amazes me that the boy king, George Walker Bush, can lie so blatantly and not get called on it here in his alleged home country. Amazing.

I guess I really am 6'3" tall, muscular, have a well rounded ass and six pack abs, and really do look like those Italian models used to portray half breed Indians from over a century and a half ago on the cover of romance novels.

Yeah, and being Indian gets me hundreds of dates. Women are just crawling all over me.

Yeah, yeah, and I really don't live from paycheck to paycheck. I am a secret millionaire. Yeah, Yeah, I just live this way because it's cool. Yeah, yeah!

I really have a rolls royce in the back yard of where I live. I just like commuting on my bike because it's cool. Yeah! Yeah!

OK, OK, OK...You can all call me on this bullshit. Those of you who know me know I am the soft pudgy Indian I always refer to. I don't look all that spectacular. I almost always have to borrow money before my next payday. I'm only 5'9 3/4" tall. My six pack is a keg. I really do commute via bicycle because I have no other form of transportation. I wouldn't own a rolls royce even if I could afford one.

...AND GEORGE WALKER BUSH, ALLEGED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT, THE WORLDS WORST GENOCIDAL INSTITUTION, DOES PERMIT AND ALLOW TORTURE TORTURE TORTURE TORTURE TORTURE. To give it any other name, to say it doesn't happen, is all LIES. GEORGE WALKER BUSH IS A LIAR.

Read the article and you decide. I've seen the pictures. I've read the evidence. The U.S. government does commit torture, and permits it. Torture gives almost exclusively useless information and is done more often than not to the innocent as an act of REVENGE. It is a tool of terrorism that has been enjoyed by the U.S. government since its inception. And don't give me that founding fathers BULLSHIT! They'd do it more covertly and enjoy doing it just as much, because, well, they did. Business as usual in the Unites States.

Kissinger

This is a link to an article about U.S. Iarqi actions near the Syrian border:

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/110505D.shtml

The following is the last two paragraphs from the article:

"But former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger warned at a meeting in Brussels with NATO top brass, including US General James Jones and Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, against any rushed withdrawal of US forces from Iraq.
"American abdication in Iraq will have global consequences if a fundamentalist radical state were to emerge in Baghdad," Kissinger said, as he called on Europeans to overcome their differences and coordinate efforts to bring stability to Iraq."

OK, what is that genocidal fucking piece of shit Kissinger doing in a meeting with NATO. Other than furthering the gencoidal ideals of U.S. imperialism, this mass murderer is still walking free. WHAT THE FUCK? Where Kissinger is helping making decisions, it can only mean thousands upon thousands of murdered human beings. Look forward to mass slaughter happening in Iraq yet again. Carpet bombing, maybe? Only time will tell.

Jasenovac

You've heard the names Auschwitz, Dacchau, Buchenwald, etc. But one of the worst death camps to have existed was one known as Jasenovac, in southern Croatia.

It is here, where Peter Brizica (previously posted in this blog) became "King of the Cut Throats" during a contest held to clear Serbian prisoners from the camp to make room for more prisoners due to be shipped there the next day. He murdered 1360 people that evening.

Many attrocities and cruelties were dealt to Serbs, Jews, Sinti, Roma, and many others by the Ustashe. Janesovac was the only death camp that had a specific designation for children, as well (the photos are horrific). Jasenovac was actually five different death camps within a short distance of each other (approx. 150 square miles). It is believed that the camp was responsible for 300,000 to 700,000 murders.

You may be wondering why Jasenovac is not a name as common as those of Auschwitz, Dacchau, Buchenwald, etc. It is probably because of the more direct involvement of the Catholic Church through the Vatican. This was the only Catholic ran death camp during the Nazi era.

The Vatican had direct involvement, as well, in bringing the fascists to power. Mussolini signed a pact with the close to bankrupt at the time Vatican, thus getting Catholic support and the Vatican getting a flood of money.

If you visit www.jasenovac.org, you will find a photo of the signing of the treaty between Hitler's Nazi's and the Vatican. Here is the caption to that photo:

"Secretary of State, Cardinal Eugenio Pacelli, the future Pope Pius XII (center) signs the Vatican's Concordat with Nazi Germany's foreign minister Franz von Papen (seated left from Pacelli) at the Vatican, 20 July 1933."

The signing of this treaty brought the unquestioning support of the Vatican to the Nazi's, as well as flooded the Vatican's bank accounts even further with money.

It is alleged that the Vatican, due to it's more or less direct involvement with the death camp known as Jasenovac, has been key in keeping the name out of the forefront along with the other famous Nazi death camps. It is also said in testimony and photographs, that the Catholic ran death camp at Jasenovac even offended the most cold hearted of the Nazi's. Good job Mr. Pope person.

The following is the mission statement of the website about Jasenovac. Some of the photos will absolutely sicken you, like the one of the future pope signing a treaty with the Nazi Party of Germany, as well as photo evidence of the gruesome slaughters that took place. Lest we forget... As is often stated, "those who forget their past are doomed to repeat it..."

My question is, what does it mean that the world has forgotten about Jasenovac? I, for one, will not forget, and will live my life to bring an end to such horrific crimes. And yes, such horrific crimes do continue in this world (Darfur for instance).

"THE JASENOVAC RESEARCH INSTITUTE est. 1998 History & Statement of Purpose The Jasenovac Research Institute was founded on the belief that the failure to learn the lessons of the genocide committed against Serbs, Jews and Gypsies during the Second World War rests at the very core of recent events in the Balkans. Jasenovac, which represents the greatest crimes of genocide ever committed in the Balkans, has been largely overlooked by Western scholars, while its legacy has been distorted and its victims have been either ignored or victimized yet again by Holocaust revisionists. Central to the lessens of Jasenovac is the slogan "Never again!" However, the failure to observe this warning and to recognize the great crimes committed at Jasenovac has reaped not only the expected consequences of a revival of fascism in the Balkans, but with it, a deadly, racist demonization of the Serbian people. For these reasons, this foundation and all individuals and work connected to it are dedicated both to preserving the memory of Jasenovac and to the search for justice for its victims."

First Genocide Cover-Up Day (Thanksgiving)

With Genocide Cover-Up Day closer and closer, I feel compelled to discuss the actions of genocide past and present.

What is Genocide Cover-Up Day, you ask? Every alleged Thanksgiving Day, the U.S. celebrates and gives thanks to the continued occupation of this nation over the indigenous of this region. It is remembered by eating turkey and praising the pilgrims where Indians were just extras in the greater play that unfolded.

However, Thanksgiving started as an annual holliday to celebrate the killing of Indians:

THE FIRST THANKSGIVING PROCLAMATION
- JUNE 20, 1676

"The Holy God having by a long and Continual Series of his Afflictive dispensations in and by the present Warr with the Heathen Natives of this land, written and brought to pass bitter things against his own Covenant people in this wilderness, yet so that we evidently discern that in the midst of his judgements he hath remembered mercy, having remembered his Footstool in the day of his sore displeasure against us for our sins, with many singular Intimations of his Fatherly Compassion, and regard; reserving many of our Towns from Desolation Threatened, and attempted by the Enemy, and giving us especially of late with many of our Confederates many signal Advantages against them, without such Disadvantage to ourselves as formerly we have been sensible of, if it be the Lord's mercy that we are not consumed, It certainly bespeaks our positive Thankfulness, when our Enemies are in any measure disappointed or destroyed; and fearing the Lord should take notice under so many Intimations of his returning mercy, we should be found an Insensible people, as not standing before Him with Thanksgiving, as well as lading him with our Complaints in the time of pressing Afflictions:

The Council has thought meet to appoint and set apart the 29th day of this instant June, as a day of Solemn Thanksgiving and praise to God for such his Goodness and Favour, many Particulars of which mercy might be Instanced, but we doubt not those who are sensible of God's Afflictions, have been as diligent to espy him returning to us; and that the Lord may behold us as a People offering Praise and thereby glorifying Him; the Council doth commend it to the Respective Ministers, Elders and people of this Jurisdiction; Solemnly and seriously to keep the same Beseeching that being perswaded by the mercies of God we may all, even this whole people offer up our bodies and soulds as a living and acceptable Service unto God by Jesus Christ."
------------------------------------
The First Thanksgiving Proclamation (June 20, 1676)
On June 20, 1676, the governing council of Charlestown, Massachusetts, held a meeting to determine how best to express thanks for the good fortune that had seen their community securely established. By unamimous vote they instructed Edward Rawson, the clerk, to proclaim June 29 as a day of thanksgiving, our first. That proclamation is reproduced here in the same language and spelling as the original.

Theresa Mitchell (then Steve) started "Genocide Cover-Up Day" as a call in program on KBOO to take place every alleged "Thanksgiving Day." Specifically to discuss the fact that this nation was indeed, founded on the crime of genocide. It has been a continued tradition since the some 12 years ago of it's founding at the KBOO radio station. I came in about 8 or 9 years ago as a phone in guest, and have been helping out ever since, even, basically, being given the reins of this KBOO institution.

Every year, this one time, we are given a chance to discuss with the community the crimes of genocide enacted here and around the world.

The show will be taking place between 9am and noon, on November 24th, alleged Thanksgiving Day, on KBOO 90.7fm. We will be taking calls at 503-231-8187 with musical breaks to give me and the guests time to rest.

Oh...the guests. This years guests are some of the usual along with at least one first timer:

Jim Craven, head of the economics department at Clark College, Blackfoot Solicitor General, and author of the Indictment of the U.S. and Canada for the crimes of genocide has confirmed his desire to be on the show.

Ani Haines, volunteer coordinator here at KBOO, and a long time study of effects of genocide 0n women and the gender specific genocides against women will be discussing "femicide."

Inga Muscio, author of the books, "Cunt" and "Autobiography of a Blue Eyed Devil," will also be on the air with us.

You will see that throughout this blog, until that time, I will make reference to the show as well as send you to websites or other information where you can learn more about this horrific crime and maybe we can bring it to an end.

Sovereignty

In the Siletz tribal concstitution, it states that we basically bow to the will of the United States Government. In order to be "recognized" by the U.S. government, we have to defer the determination of our people to the U.S. government. The fact that we have to be "recognized" by the same government that has tried to wipe our people off the face of the earth is NOT sovereignty. How can it be?

In the 50's, Dwight Eisenhower moved forward the "termination" effort by "terminating" many of the smaller tribal nations. This move was genocidal at its core. Can I go to France and simply declare the French no longer exist, but are now Siletz and Blackfoot and will be FORCED to act accordingly? No. The French are a sovereign nation and what right do I have to tell the French what constitutes them as a nation or not?

All the "re-recognized" tribes have a basic outline for their tribal constitutions, written by a white man member of the U.S. governmental organization. Various Indian nations will flesh it out with a few of the alleged independent determinations, which, again, have to be approved by the United States government before they can be implemented. That is NOT sovereignty.

However, the U.S. gave itself the right to "terminate" its indigenous populations. For 20 years, many Indians were made "no longer to exist" as Indians by the simple stroke of the pen. I sure wish I could do that to the Bush administration.

"I declare you, oh horrific and genocidal Bush Administration, to no longer exist on my land, nor anyform of you genocidal allged democratic government. That includes all government officials, all forms of your genocidal democratic bureacracies, etc. You no longer exist, and neither do your corporate owners."

OK. Give me a second, I'm gonna go look outside to see if anything has changed...be right back!

.......

Nope! Still rainy and wet and still occupied by the genocidal forces of the U.S. government.

Just like the U.S. said we no longer existed as Indians (I was born during that non-existence, by the way) we were always Indians. The U.S. government, no matter how horrifically genocidal it is whether republican or democrat operated, still occupies MY land, even though I just declared them as non-existent. Interesting.

However, our Indian governments, corrupt or otherwise, ALWAYS bow to the genocidal U.S. government. We recognize the U.S. government as our master, otherwise, they will willingly destroy us again, whether with the stroke of a pen or the crack of the gun, and we know that.

That is why I am willing to flip off the owners of our sovereignty. We are not sovereign as long as our independence depends on being "recognized" by the genocidal forces of the U.S.

HEY, GENOCIDAL U.S. GOVERNMENT! FUCK YOU ALL AND YOUR CORPORATE OWNERS!

HEY! Let's talk about ABORTION!

I do not have the right to dictate what happens to other peoples bodies. I cannot tell people what they can and cannot do with their bodies because that implies ME having ownership of someone else. That means I will be DICTATING to someone else how they can or cannot live their lives. That means that in the land of freedom, people who have others DICTATING what they can and cannot do with their bodies are NOT free. They are slaves to someone else's ideals. THIS IS NOT THE LAND OF THE FREE!

Only the woman needing one should be allowed to make the decision whether or not to have an abortion. There could be so many reasons one is necessary: too young, rape, poverty, can't handle it right now, etc. But more than that, WHO AM I TO TELL THE WOMAN SHE IS INCAPABLE OF MAKING HER OWN DECISIONS?

Christians like to say the believe in the "right to life." They call themselves "pro-life." As a friend brought to my attention, "at best, Christians are pro-birth." To be "pro-life," one should also care about those already living. The Christians don't seem to care about the thounsands of children dying in Iraq from PREVENTABLE conditions. They don't seem to care about all the children being murdered in the genocide in Darfur. They don't seem to care about the conditions of poverty that kills thousands of children every year. They don't seem to care about the children they raped and murdered in Indian Boarding Schools and in so many other institutions. They don't care about the pollution that effects the health of our children. Don't seem to care about the children slaughtered in wars. They really just don't care about life. They care about birth. FUCK! CHRISTIANS WON'T EVEN DEAL WITH THE CHILD RAPISTS WITHIN THEIR ORGANIZATIONS! THE MANY STORIES I'VE HEARD OF PASTORS OR CHURCH AUTHORITIES RAPING THEIR OWN CHILDREN! That tells me that Christians don't really give a fuck about children, just birth. Doesn't matter the conditions the child grows up under.

Christians are not above using terror and murder to get their way, either. Nothing unusual, just look what the fucking assholes did to us Indians. They murdered abortion doctors, bombed abortion clinics, and harrassed women.

Sam Alito, as a piece of shit fucking Christian who HATES LIFE but LOVES BIRTH, WILL attempt to overturn Roe v. Wade. THEIR WILL BE NO RIGHT TO PRIVACY! Here...in the land of freedom...

Mind you, there are Christians who agree with me. I remember one time I was complaining to a co-worker about the assholes withing Christianity. We both complained left and right for about 10 minutes, exchanging all sorts of horror stories from the alleged followers of Jesus. Then I had a funny feeling, so I asked. "Are you a Christian?"

"Yes!" she said. "And those people are NOT behaving in a Christian like manner. Man! They piss me off."

Health is a human right. Abortion is a HUMAN RIGHT under the UN Declaration of Human Rights.

Christians should clean up their own fucking houses before they start telling others what they can and cannot do, and dictate it upon those people via USE OF FORCE. Why don't Christians ask themselves: "What child would Jesus rape?" After all, some who say they attempt to emulate the principles of Jesus rape children, or are COMPLICIT in the rapes of children (for example, the Pope).

And these are the people who are telling women they do not have rights over their reproductive organs. Men do.

NO! MEN DON'T! For a man to have rights over the reproductive rights of women which ARE HEALTH RIGHTS which are HUMAN RIGHTS, a man should have those organs FUNCTIONING within his body.

I agree with that bumper sticker, "If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a right." It already is, but MEN want to take it away.

If abortion isn't telling women they are NOT equal to men, what is? There is NO gender equality in this country, ESPECIALLY if a woman cannot decide what she will or will not do with her body. That, my friends and others, IS RAPE from a RAPE culture.

So there you to, my opinions, even on HUMAN RIGHTS law.

Wanna Talk?

One last thing, why are Christians so anti-sex? I don't understand it. Sex is not only for pro-creation, but for pleasure which brings about good mental health when done WITH WILLING PARTNERS or by oneself. I tried reading the bible once. I took a bit, being kinda slow in certain areas at the time, to realize that "having sport" in the bible meant "fucking like rabbits" in todays terminology. There was lots of "having sport" in the bible. I, however, couldn't get past Lott and his daughters. Lott had sex with his daughters, as well as offered them to the community to "have sport with" in order to gain their complicity in offering a man refuge. So...why are Christians so against sex? There's a ton if it going on in their book.

Of Women and Men

More often than I care to recall, I hear women referred to as holes owned by men. Men don't come out and put it that way. They say things about female strangers like: "You can have that one and I'll take the other one." Like the man telling me this believes he owns those womens bodies and therefore we can do whatever we want with them. Mind you, this is done in a figurative sense. However, I do not see women like that.

Mind you...I'm no innocent man. I love to look at women. All women. But, unlike most men, I see women as my fellow human beings, not holes for me to possess. I feel desires. It is only natural to feel desire for a person. Want their attention and wanting them to accept your attention. But women are my fellow human beings. They have their stories. Each one is individual, but all seem to have many similar stories, especially in how they are treated by a specific group of their fellow human beings, men. And still, all the feminists I know personally still love men. Me, a man, don't care to much for my fellow men.

In my opinion, women are the key to saving the world. Men, afterall, enjoy killing each other, women, and elderly, for wealthy men to keep their wealth. Men have polluted the oceans with millions of tons of toxic chemicals. Men sat at the table at the Wannsee conference. Men commit genocide all of the time. All of this comes from a simple fact. Men treat many other men and always women like they are not their fellow humans. Black men were considered to be 3/5ths of a man. Black women, however, are not human at all, just like all women.

Women were slaughtered by the millions by men in Europe, specifically, those who refused to conform to the Christian role of women...under a man and discarded until then. It is commonly referred to as the burning times.

Indian women had their genitals cut off by men and used as decorations for hat bands and saddle horns. Kit Carson's men enjoyed cutting off the breasts of dead Indian women and playing catch with them. They would laugh because they were so jiggly and slick with blood that they were hard to keep a grip on.

I could go on and on for days with the LITTLE information I know about the oppression and various genocides enacted against women historically to the present. But it is always the same no matter where I look. Men see themselves as better than women, and more often than not, more human than women, and in many cases, women are not seen as human at all.

Women, afterall, and generally speaking, as I know there are many women who do their best to behave like men in order to be seen as equal to men, are not filled with such a desire to kill everyone and everything in order to prove they are the master of it all.

Men are afraid of women getting equality, but more honestly, men are afraid of being treated like they treat women. Men don't look at that, however. Men don't look at the fact that they don't want to be treated like they treat women because more often than not, men treat women like shit because they don't see them as their fellow human beings. Men don't want to be treated like that, but they are willing to treat their sisters, mothers, nieces, daughters, etc., like that. They don't examine their behavior because men believe themselves to be the master of it all. And being the master, men have raped, murdered, genocided, polluted, destoryed, etc., to prove their greatness because they don't see greatness in cooperation, but in DOMINATION.

Men...treat your fellow human beings, ESPECIALLY WOMEN, like your fellow human beings. You are not better because you DOMINATE others. You are ASSHOLES because you dominate others. People fear you, and fear is not respect. Fear is OPPRESSION! No one should live in fear of their fellow human beings.
