A U.S. court stated that U.S. law trumps international law, an arugment that the Germans used in defending themselves from prosecution during the Nuremburg trials in regards to the Holocaust. This is an article about treatment of foreign prisoners, the violation of a 1963 treaty (and the u.s. constitution), and thus putting U.S. citizens in danger overseas as this now makes the treaty null and void.
